Dallas Sci-Fi Expo
Over the weekend my kids and I had a lot of fun attending the Dallas Sci-Fi Expo, where we bought some cool stuff, ran into a few friends, saw some interesting costumes, and met some celebs.
Ryan and I enjoy watching Lost, but we were a little disappointed meeting Mira "Danielle Rousseu" Furlan, who seemed a bit distracted and was unwilling to pose for a photo with us. In fact, her personality resembled her character on the show.

Deep Roy of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory fame hangin' with Ryan. Deep was friendly and fun to meet.
A Klingon flanked by two really cool kids (who indulged their father by posing for a "nerdy" photo).
Kez Wilson, one of the editors for Bela Lugosi's Tales from the Grave, was on hand to promote the forthcoming comic book series. It was cool talking with Kez, and I was happy to get my free contributor copy of that awesome Lugosi poster by Kerry Gammill.
Kate Vernon, who played Ellen Tigh in Battlestar Galactica, was nice enough to pose for this photo. She was very sweet and seemed happy meeting fans.

Oklahoma Electronic Game Expo
I spent this past weekend in Oklahoma City, hanging out with my brother-in-law and signing books and selling games at the Oklahoma Electronic Game Expo.
Rob O'Hara, who also writes books on videogames, took this photo:
For a report of the show, check out Rob's website.
The following photos were taken by my aforementioned brother-in-law, who helped me run my table (thanks, Mike!):

Video Game Trader #15, which contains my cover feature on the Intellivision, celebrating the system's 30th anniversay.
Also in the magazine is a review of my latest book, Classic Home Video Games, 1985-1988. Reviewer Patrick Burton calls it a "great book" and says that it "makes for nice reading," but wishes there were star ratings for each game and a textbook-like tabbed index system.
